Apostle Terence A. Townsend
Founder & President, Townsend Bible Institute & School of Ministry

Apostle Terence A. Townsend is a visionary leader, author, and seasoned ministry practitioner with over three decades of dedicated service to the Body of Christ. As the Founder and President of the Townsend Bible Institute & School of Ministry, he bridges the gap between deep theological study and practical, real-world application.

Terence’s journey is defined by a "faith-first" resilience. After receiving his call to ministry at age 12 and being licensed at 18, he transitioned through various leadership roles, from church start-ups to being affirmed in the office of Apostle in 2022. His unique perspective is forged in the fire of experience; in 2002, he and his family overcame a year of homelessness, a period he credits as the divine catalyst for his multi-faceted career in ministry, media, and entrepreneurship.

Beyond the pulpit.

Apostle Townsend is a recognized voice in Christian media and business. He is the co-host of the CHANGED Radio Show and the mastermind behind TRÜ PRAISE Productions, where he has mentored global artists and speakers. An accomplished author, his works, such as The Power of True Christian Virtue and God’s Masterplan for Money, reflect his commitment to equipping believers with the tools for spiritual and financial stewardship.

Currently serving as the Director of Ministries at Legacy Center International in Belton, TX, Terence brings a wealth of knowledge in the areas of:

Leadership Development: Mentoring pastors and ministry partners globally through the Kingdom Builders Ministry Network & Fellowship  (RaisingKingdomLeaders.org).

Community Ministry: through Save Our City Crusades and Conference,

Marketplace Ministry: Integrating spiritual principles with entrepreneurship through his ENGAGE Memebership Program and financial literacy through his My Money & Me Financial Literacy Program.

At Townsend Bible Institute.

Apostle Townsend is dedicated to "Equipping Leaders and Impacting Ministries," ensuring that every student graduates with both a profound understanding of the Word and the strategic insight to lead in the 21st century.
